Always trying to find ways to wed art and science, Rose did her
undergraduate work at the Rochester Institute of Technology, the
premiere imaging college in the U.S.
After graduation, Rose joined a pioneering hi-tech company in Massachusetts,
and played a key role in developing one of the first all-digital, color
graphic arts pre-press systems. Grasping the pervasive importance of digital in the future of all visual arts, Rose also augmented her undergraduate
education by earning an M.S. in Computer Science.
Now a Mainer, Rose has emerged as an accomplished artist, working initially in watercolors but now in acrylics and oils also. Rose is active in the Cape Art
League and has been Chair of the Cape Elizabeth Arts Commission.
Much of Rose's recent work can be enjoyed on-line in her new Gallery One.
